In September 2016, Innovation Films collaborated with Red Dot Films to produce two awareness Ads in Arabic and English as part of a campaign organised by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) to reduce the risk of heart attacks.
A storyboard and a script were given to Red Dot to execute the Ads, meaning that the concept was already developed. The idea is to educate the public on how to recognise the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and what to do if the attack is suspected.
Red Dot was supposed to carry the pre-production, production, and post-production. Both of the Ads were alike. The difference was that one presents a female character, and the other presents a male character. Both characters were brought from Trinity Talent Qatar.
Red Dot had to present different poses of the characters, showing the pain areas that might affect the person who had a heart attack highlighted on the character’s body, and the background should be a red target sign. To provide this footage, the characters were filmed in front of a chroma background. Then they were keyed, and the required graphics were made.
