Ready, set, run! With the 2023 Doha Marathon on the horizon, Ooredoo and Red Dot Films are teaming up to help participants cross the finish line with ease. Featuring Olympic champion Mutaz Barshim and triathlon coach Abdullah Al Kaabi, three exciting and informative videos are being released to guide participants in their training journey.
Get pumped and ready to warm up and cool down like a pro, fuel your body with the right nutrition and hydration, and learn how to recover like a champion. With the guidance of Barshim’s star power and Al Kaabi’s coaching credibility, these tips are sure to make a difference in your race day performance.
According to Dana Al Mulla, Brand Analyst at Ooredoo, the goal is to promote awareness and encourage healthy and fit practices among Qatar’s residents.
Al Mulla adds, “We hope these videos will inspire people to continue performing sports and lead a healthy lifestyle.”
The filming process was a success, with Barshim captured in action at Aspire’s warm-up track and Al Kaabi in front of a stunning chroma backdrop. The chroma shots were lit to perfection by Red Dot’s Managing Director, Shadab Khan, making the special effects process a breeze.
As the Creative Head of Red Dot, Yousif Al Hamadi, explains, “Even though chroma keying has become easier with advanced software, lighting the chroma correctly is still crucial. And we’re glad we did it right!”
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Ooredoo’s involvement in the Doha Marathon, and the event continues to grow with over 8,000 runners registered in six different distances, with the longest being a grueling 42 km. Get ready to join the fun, stay healthy, and make memories at the 2023 Doha Marathon!
