Red Dot Films Showcases Premier Quran Talents: Seamless Live Stream for Awal Alawael Competition

In a monumental achievement, Red Dot Films, a premier company in live event coverage, recently undertook the challenging task of live-streaming the second edition of Awal Alawael, the international branch of the Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Competition. This event, sponsored by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf), served as a distinguished gathering of Quranic masters from across the globe.

From November 1st to November 10th, 2023, the walls of the Mohammed bin Abdulwahab Mosque witnessed the unfolding of this prestigious competition. Seventy participants, already winners of international competitions, showcased their extraordinary talents, adding a unique dimension to the event. The grand finale, held at Almajlis Hall in Sheraton on November 12th, provided an elegant backdrop to honour the first-place winner.

Out of the 70 participants, 40 successfully navigated the initial stage. From this distinguished group, 10 participants advanced to the final stage, delivering recitations that epitomized the essence of Quranic narrations. The event’s climax arrived with the crowning of the distinguished winner, Mohammed Saad Abduljaleel, from Egypt. His exceptional talent and dedication earned him the coveted title of first-place winner, accompanied by a 1 million Qatari riyals prize.

Under the adept supervision of Ahmed Alsada, the Director of the event, Red Dot provided a flawless live stream, allowing a global audience to witness the beauty of Quranic recitation presented by distinguished participants. The successful execution of this endeavour brought the 2nd edition of Awal Alawael and the unique gathering of Quranic masters to a worldwide audience.

In addition to its live stream coverage, Red Dot Films played a pivotal role in designing and executing a podcast set placed in the mosque library. Crafted by the Red Dot Films team, this set was intended to be utilized for producing parallel shows during the competition, showcasing Red Dot Films’ creativity.
