Alkass Digital on Twitter: "Qatar Football Association held an elite referee training at Qatar SC. The course included training new and old referees on the use of the VAR system to enhance

Red Dot made and equipped them as per the FIFA requirements, allowing the officials to operate the VAR during the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2020.

Mobility of the Vans reduced the labour of setting up at different venues. The referees were previously carrying the VAR’s equipment and screens from a stadium to another one where the matches are.

QFA referees have demonstrated a good understanding of the requirements needed to apply the technology correctly, and this is a result of the efforts they have made during previous VAR training.

The VAR used for the first time in an international tournament during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, hoping that the vans built by Red Dot to be used in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
